Hatha Yoga

"Hatha Yoga teaches to dominate the cosmic energy present in man, which appear as breath, and therefore to achieve a sure control of the most unstable element that can be imagined: the restless mind, always ready to distract and digress. In this way yoga, influencing together the psychic and the physical life of the individual, which are closely connected, proposes to make an immediate revulsion from the level of daily human and earthly experience and to act in order to possess the highest bliss. This is why Hatha Yoga is also called “the fast way”. Asanas are an important part of Hatha Yoga. They are movements of the body or static positions that, carried out with an adequate breathing technique (Pranayama), help to develop strength, flexibility, mental stability, and correct functioning of the various body systems.

Shiva Flow

Shiva Flow is a contemporary form of Yoga founded by Silvia Romani, based on the practice of asanas concatenated by a fluid and uninterrupted movement. Each sequence tells the myth linked to the asana peak, or the asana in which the sequence culminates. The main features of the sequence are: inconsistency of the sequence to the told myth, progression of the chosen asanas to reach the peak and fluidity of movement. The sequences represent the myths and legends of the Indian cultural tradition. Movements and positions, combined with ad hoc selected music, tell the story of the characters and allow the practitioner to capture their essence in body and mind, projecting the evolutionary path from the physical to the cultural, psychological and spiritual level, generating a meditation in movement. At the end of the practice, a deepening of yogic philosophy is proposed, starting from the story itself. In this kind of practice, one’s own limits are dealt with in a soft and loving way. They are perceived, seen and heard, but the focus is not on overcoming them but on accepting them and, above all, on welcoming them. By respecting and welcoming its own limits, sooner or later, every person will probably be able to overcome them. And even if it does not happen…well, you did not miss anything, because you still realised and experienced the magic of your body. The practice of Shiva Flow wants to celebrate the joy and lightness in an activity where body movement and energy flow are full of openness and pleasure to practice. The direction of communication is from the inside to the outside. From emotions to the body. It is the body that expresses the emotions that already live inside or that the practice itself can arouse.

Anukalana Yoga

Anukalana Yoga is a new approach to the ancient discipline of Yoga, characterized by soft and fluid movements that brings balance and physical, mental and spiritual well-being, through the correct alignment of the “Asanas” (positions of yoga) and “Articular Respiration”, one of the fundamental principles of Anukalana Yoga. “The Sanskrit term “Anukalana” means “Integration”. This new approach to Yoga makes it possible to discover the most natural and complete way of dealing with even the most complex and advanced practices of this discipline in total respect for one’s personal body type, one’s own limitations and needs. Anukalana is the result of a deep research work started in the 90s thanks to the yoga teacher Jacopo Ceccarelli. This work allowed us to bring the Integral and Traditional Yoga even closer to the needs of people thanks to the integration of principles and techniques cultivated in ancient traditions and disciplines such as Taoism, Tantra, Dance, Martial Arts, etc. Anukalana does not want to be a new style or method of Yoga, but an approach to this millennial science based on integration, with the aim of bringing practices close to the needs of the individual.

Kundalini Yoga

A mainly energetic yoga, whose emphasis is not only on the body or on the precision of the positions. The main purpose is to promote the flow of energy and the stimulation of the magnetic field: well-being and vigorousness of the body are a secondary effect of the well-stimulated energy flow. Physical practice is complemented by a relaxation followed by a short meditation. Classes are always different; the teacher has the privilege of having 7,000 different kriya as far as an important number of meditations. The benefits that you get with Kundalini yoga are: on a physical level: improving the cardiovascular system; Rejuvenating nervous, digestive and lymphatic system; Balancing the glandular system, increasing the resistance even of immune system, at mental level: more balance in emotions, increased intuition; control of stress and anxiety; resolution of deep internal conflict; relationship improvement.
